Essence is the most basic & important element or aspect of something. The essence makes you think back to the origin of something (nature, life, art…), which can lead to inspiration, the inspiration needed to drive the desire to innovate, create and share.

Interesting - how did this name come about?
From your perspective, would it be a metaphor for digital mediums being a bright flame amid the traditional mediums which are the “dying fire”? Nice name but also want to be conscious that we’re not aiming to replace traditional creativity - but rather complement it.

téchnis - Greek noun for Produce. Often used in reference to artists and Art Couriers/preparators.

My proposal to name the new Zilliqa marketplace:
MUSE
In Greco-Roman Myth, the Muses are the protective Goddesses and patronesses of the arts.
Muse: “a personified force who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist”
Its a single syllable, easy to remember.
Intransitively it means: “to become absorbed in thought” especially: “to think about something carefully and thoroughly”
This resonates with the purposefulness and respect for the creative process and the practice of art, it’s is very fitting for a marketplace to reverberate these ideals. It’s definition is highly relevant.

It should be called Zill-ism to mark a new era in art curation.
“Souq” is the arabic word for marketplace.
Add a Zilliqa twist to that and you ge “ZOUQ” the Zilliqa NFT marketplace.

Hey all! Hope you guys are enjoying your holidays 
So far I think the most popular suggestions seem to be the three mentioned by @ZillinkPower and Rialto/Ember by @Boozer. Personally I like Rialto and BE for the meaning behind these names. I think I also saw Lattice which was a great suggestion but there isn’t enough likes on it 
Will try and put this up on social media to see if there’s any more suggestions coming in, else I think we can proceed with a formal vote on the gov portal with the names that are most liked in this thread.
